September 15, 2007, Elma Wa. - With the original date of the Fred Brownfield Memorial being rained out, Jimmy Trulli and the Trulli Racing Team Headed to Elma Washington to race in this make up race.  This race trip was exciting as Fred Brownfield was one of Jimmy Trulli's favorite drivers, promoters, and even a fan.  Fred had a big influence on Jimmy so to make this race was an honor for Jimmy.  This two day race had 54 cars ht the clocks for qualifying and Jimmy laid down a lap of 12.670, which would put him in 20th quick time of the night.  This would allow Jimmy to start outside the front row in his heat race.  Jimmy would take the lead early and not look back, as he would go on to win the heat race. Jimmy would go directly to the A Main event for Friday night, where he would start in 14th.  Jimmy would be able to pass a couple of cars and end his night with a 12th place finish.  There are good points for Jimmy as it would help Jimmy make the main event on Saturday night.
Saturday Night Started off with the team chasing a fuel problem.  It really hampered the qualifying effort for Jimmy on Saturday night, as jimmy clicked off his fastest of 2 laps at 12.929 and that would place Jimmy in the 41st position missing the heat race inversion.  With Jimmy's  points from Night One, he would be able to start the A-main event in 15th position.  After tracking down the fuel problems, Jimmy was able to run a hard race and would move forward to into the 12th place finish.  All in all it was a great weekend, and an awesome show put on by Grays Harbor, with an awesome tribute Fred Brownfield.

September 11, 2007, Placerville CA. - With the original date of the Fred Brownfield Memorial being rained out, Jimmy Trulli and the Trulli Racing Team will head to the Fred Brownfield Memorial Sprint Challenge @ Gray’s Harbor Raceway in Elma. WA. this weekend. This is a $10,092.00 to win event, with the $92 part being Fred Brownfield’s race car Number. Fred really meant the world to Jimmy as a Driver, Promoter, and even as one of Jimmy’s Fans. Fred was always encouraging Jimmy to run hard, and told Jimmy that he would get a win in the NST. Fred was also one of the first to congratulate Jimmy when he picked up his first NST win. With 2 NST wins, Jimmy hopes to add a win at Greys Harbor as he runs with the NSCS (which used to be the NST) this weekend.
Jimmy is coming of a hot streak of Sprint car finishes, including a win at the California Famed Calistoga Speedway with the California Civil War Sprint Car Series. Jimmy’s most recent accomplishment is being the highest finishing 360 sprint car driver in the Gold Cup Race of Champions, along with a second place finish in the last Civil War Pacific Cup Invitational at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico CA. In Jimmy’s last 5 races he has finished in the top 5 with one win, a 2nd place finish, and 3, 4th place finishes.

September 6th, 2007 - Jimmy Trulli Raced carried his 2nd place finish in the Pacific Cup Invitational which kicks off Gold Cup Weekend @ Chico California's Silver Dollar Speedway.  In night one of the Gold Cup Race of Champions Preliminaries, Jimmy qualified in the 30th with a lap of 12.371.  Jimmy would have his work cut out for him, as he had to start in the 8th position of his heat, and on a track that did not allow for much passing, Jimmy was only able to pass one car and come in with a 7th place finish.  This would place Jimmy in the 10 position for the B Main event, and he would have to try and pass six cars to make the transfer spot.  Jimmy drove a hard race, but was only able to get into the 8th position.  Jimmy will however start as the top 360 of the race on Saturday night as he goes for the top finishing 360 running in the gold cup race of champions!  Jimmy would like to thank all his sponsors for making this season possible, as Jimmy is proud to represent all of you at the track each and every week.

August 30, 2007 Placerville CA - After Winning another Fast Time award last weekend with the only time in the 10 second bracket at Placerville Speedway in Points Race #16, Jimmy Raced hard to get a 4th place finish as well.  Now there are only one points race left at Placerville Speedway, and Jimmy is going into this race with a chance at his first Championship season at Placerville Speedway, but it is not going to come easy.  Jimmy is Currently 15 points behind Point Leader Gregg DeCaires, who has also been very consistent this season as well.  Which is Ok because  Jimmy, Willie, Dennis, Bert, Mike, John and the rest of the team have put together one heck of a season so far with 3 top 5 finishes, and 11 top 10 finishes.  Jimmy has only finished out of the top 10 one time this year in Placerville Points Races, and to top that off Jimmy has had 3 fast time awards as well this season. This is also he race just before the Civil War Pacific Sprint Cup Invitational.  This is the Big race that kicks off the World of Outlaw Sanctioned Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway.  The team is focused and ready to go, so come and root Jimmy on as he goes for the Placerville Championship this weekend at Placerville Speedway!!!

8- 11-07  Calistoga CA - Jimmy Trulli was in action at Calistoga Speedway tonight and he was ready to Rock and Roll.  With 39 cars in the pits, including some 410 regulars, the field was sure to be tough tonight.  But what the field did not know was that Jimmy was the tough one to beat tonight.  The night started off with Jimmy Qualifying 12th quick time.  Jimmy then went on to win his heat race, and start on the front row of the A Main event along side Mike Kinney.  Jimmy quickly jumped into the lead, and built up his lead until he hit lapped traffic, and the 16x of Andy Greg closed in on Jimmy.  As Jimmy negotiated the lapped cars, a caution came out.  On the restart, Jimmy quickly jumped into a strait away lead as he crossed the checkered flag Jimmy won his first race at Calistoga!!!

8-4-07 Placerville CA - Jimmy was in action at Placerville Speedway on August 4th with the California Civil War Series, where Jimmy had to come back from a First lap crash to finish in the Top 10...  Starting in the 3rd starting position, the green flag fell, and  Stephen Allard in the 20 car spun in turns 1 and 2, gathering up Jimmy Trulli giving him a flat right rear.  The team was able to replace the tire, adn on the restart of the Main event, Jimmy would start in the 19th position and have the 33t car sitting in the 11th position by the 9th lap of the race.  Jimmy would then work had between cautions to Gain two more spots in the 30 lap main event giving him a 9th place finish.  Next Race will be August 11th in the Napa Valley at the historical Calistoga Speedway.
6-23-07
Placerville CA.  Jimmy Trulli and his Racing Team (Dennis, Willie, Bert and Flyman) had one great Civil War Race this weekend as Jimmy raced hard all night with the end results paying off with a dominating win.  The night started off with Qualifying a little farther back in the field than Jimmy is used to with a 15th quick time out of the 38 car field.  Jimmy started 4th in the 9 car heat race and quickly jumped into the 3rd spot where he held off the #85 car of CJ Humphries and the # 67 of Shain Matthews to finish in 3rd and get the transfer to the A main event.
After working hard to make the car handle the best that it can for the Main event, and watching the track for the final set up changes, Jimmy and his Team made the final adjustments to the car and the changes they made were awesome.  Jimmy was in the 4th starting position and he immediately jumped into the 2nd position running down the 16x of Andy Gregg.  Then on Lap 15 Jimmy made his move into 1st where he never looked back.  After a few cautions Jimmy maintained his lead with awesome starts, knowing that the X1 machine of Colby Wiesz was  on his tail tank under caution.  Jimmy was just too much for Colby and after 15 Caution laps the Checkered flag finally fell giving Jimmy the win!!  The win moved Jimmy up 10 spots in points to 21st in Civil War.  Jimmy is 2nd in points @ Placerville Speedway only 10 points out of 1st.

4-7-2007 Placerville Speedway - Jimmy had 7th quick time tonight at Placerville Speedway.  In Jimmy's heat race he started in 4th place, and needed to finish in the top 5 to make the transfer to the A Main event.  When all said and done, Jimmy was in the 5th spot at the drop of checkered flag Jimmy was in the 5th and final transfer spot.  In the main event, Jimmy started in the 2nd row inside where he ran a great race and eventually got tangled up with another car, sending retiring the car for the evening.  Jimmy is currently 6th in points, and only 18 points out of 1st as the championship battle has started out to be pretty close early on in the season.

3-31-2007 Placerville Speedway - After some bad luck last time out, Jimmy was back and showed that that bad luck is not going to get to him, as he was able to come out of the gate screaming with another Fast Time for qualifying with a time of 10.597.  Although it is awesome to qualify that good, it does put you in the 3rd row for the heat race.  With a track that started off hard to pass on, Jimmy was not able to pass anyone and finished where he started which was 6th.  Jimmy did a great job in his B main event finishing 2nd, and then capped off the race shortened night with a 5th place finish.  The cause of the shortened race was a violent crash by Billy Sellers, which involved serious spine injuries.  We just wanted to let the Billy Sellers to know we are praying for you and wishing you a speedy recovery.  We are also sending out thoughts and prayers to Rich Rosser who is the car owner, as he needs our support as well.  For information on a Trust Fund for Billy Wallace Please Visit

3-17-2007 Placerville Speedway - The 2007 race season started off with an awesome Qualifying run by Jimmy Trulli.  He took his #33T car for a lap around Placerville Speed at a time of 10.777 giving him fast time over 40 other competitors.    Now the hard work begins starting in the 6th position for his heat race.  With two Starts called back, Jimmy was now starting on the outside of row #1.  With the Drop of the green flag, Jimmy quickly took the point, and it only lasted for three corners and the motor let go entering turn #4.  Although the mechanical issues ended the night on a sour note, Jimmy and Willie seemed to jell well together as the car was super fast.  For now Jimmy is hoping to get a new motor so he can compete at Placerville on March 31st.  We hope to see you there!!!
