April 11th, 2009 - Petaluma Speedway Civil War Race Jimmy had 5th place in Qualifying for the night, and this would put him in the middle of the heat race, and he would have to work hard to get through his heat race.  But in the end of the heat race Jimmy would come up short and not get the transfer position and putting him into the B main event.

The B Main event was a good race for Jimmy as he started on the outside front row, went to the front and never looked back leading every lap of the B main giving him his time back behind the inversion which started Jimmy in the 6th Spot for the A Main event.

The A Main Event would be an eventful race as lapped traffic was plentiful.  But Jimmy would not let it get him down, as he would be racing hard with Steven Timer and Herman Klein all race long.  With lots of Green Flag laps, it was all about picking the right line moving around slower traffic.  Picking the wrong line would make it easy to get passed by Klein and Tiner.  With elbows up, Jimmy powered through the traffic, and was able to have another top 5 finish with his third 4th place finish this season.  "We just want to get up there and finish in the front,"  Says Trulli, "4th is not bad, but it is those last few spots we want to pass and get the win.  It is a great start to the season though, and I just hope that we continue to perform up front like we expect to every week."

Next race for Trulli Racing will be at Placerville Speedway on May 2nd, 2009.
